The comfort and technology of the Freejump single-branch stirrups combined with the classicism of a straight eye.
Born from the collaboration with Pénélope Leprevost and the Italian designer Pininfarina, the Soft’Up Classic stirrup with an eye parallel to the floor and with slightly reduced dimensions, is particularly studied for women: the Soft’Up Classic suits up to footwear size EU 43 (UK 8.5, US men 9); the straight eye helps to maintain the legs and feet more straight in comparison to stirrups with opened eyes.
The Freejump Soft’Up Classic Stirrups have been designed specifically for women, combining the safety, technology and performance of a single-branch stirrup with the classicism of an eye set parallel to the tread for the first time. The open eye is suitable for use with Freejump’s single-strap Pro Grip stirrup leathers. These stirrups have been engineered for exceptional comfort and performance, with the ultimate safety aspect of releasing by opening up against pressure from the rider’s foot in the event of a fall. It features an aircraft-grade spring steel branch with very high mechanical strength, overmoulded with an elastomer.
Features
- Improved shock-absorption ability: the Soft’Up Classic reduces the strain on the stirrup by two-thirds and relieves pressure on the rider’s joints as well as the horse’s back. They are proven to be three times more cushioning than traditional stirrups.
- The centre of gravity is set towards the front; this causes a backwards movement of the tread, encouraging the rider to keep their heels down.
- The wide carbon tread with tilted studs creates a supporting surface which is 12% bigger than a standard stirrup, alleviating pressure points on the arch of the foot.
