Contemporary and fashion-led but designed with enduring style and traditional Spanish craftsmanship, we’re certain that Penelope Chilvers boots will work for you from season to season and with multiple outfits.

The Long Tassel Boot

After time spent living in Spain working as an artist, Penelope Chilvers was inspired by the traditional lifestyles she witnessed and designed her first footwear (the Long Tassel Boot) to be the “perfect equestrian boot.” Famously worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, this boot remains a firm favourite in the collection and we’re excited to have the style at Wadswick.

All the Long Boots in the Penelope Chilvers collection are designed to give the leg a lengthening look with a shape that sculpts the ankle and a cut that elongates the calf. Many designs have discreet elastic panels that allow for differing calf widths but give the same slim fit look.

The Original Long Tassel Boot has a full exterior zip which engages the leg giving it an elegant silhouette. It also has a long lasting rubber tread sole, which makes it a perfect boot for exploring the countryside. The similarly designed Inclement Tassel Boot is made in a waterproof combination of oiled suede trimmed supple vegetable-dyed leather and has a Sympatex inner membrane that is water resistant, breathable and warm.

Also in our Penelope Chilvers range at Wadswick are the Inclement Cropped Tassel Boot and Oscar Leather Boot. Both are timeless styles that will work with each season’s trends. As with the Long Boots, Penelope Chilvers ankle boots are hand crafted to ensure ultimate style and comfort. With longevity and sustainability at the forefront of the designs, they both feature a Goodyear welt commando rubber tread. Perfect for life in the countryside.
