Step 1: Cleanse

For a luxurious finish, this deep cleansing formula is easy to use and leaves a non-sticky natural finish.
Shake well before use. Apply using a damp sponge. Massage directly into the leather, creating a light lather to lift dirt and grease.
Step 2: Feed

Feed and nourish your tack with this luxurious rich lotion to revitalise and moisturise recently cleaned or new leatherwork.
Shake well before use. Massage into clean leather using a soft,dry cloth or sponge. For best results apply after cleaning with NAF Leather Cleanse.

With free sponge inside for easy application.
Apply sparingly with a soft clean sponge or cloth to clean dry tack and massage gently into the leather. For best results clean tack before use with Leather Cleanse and Condition.

Directions:
- Shake well before use.
- Spray directly on to tack avoiding felt areas and simply wipe clean.
If cleaning heavily soiled tack wash down with water to remove excesses and allow to dry before using Synthetic Tack Clean.
Frequently asked questions
It is essential to clean and nourish leatherwork regularly to avoid the tack breaking or rubbing the horse.
Your leather bridle will remain soft and supple for years with regular cleaning and oiling.
Step 1: Take bridle apart
Find somewhere to clean your tack and take the bridle apart.
Step 2: Clean
Using a product like NAF Sheer Luxe Cleanse and condition or NAF quick clean will make this task easier.
Shake well before use.
Apply using a damp sponge.
Massage directly into the leather, creating a light lather to lift dirt and grease. Then, you can use the back of a blunt knife, scrapping very gently, for any stubborn areas to avoid damaging the leather.
Tip: Cocktail sticks are handy if you need to get any dirt out of holes.
Step 3: Feed
Once you have cleaned the leatherwork, it’s time to feed it.
NAF Sheer Luxe Food is a great product to work with or for very brittle leatherwork NAF Leather Neatsfoot oil.
Using a soft cloth or brush, apply the product sparingly to the underside of the leather. You can apply again if necessary. Then all to dry.
Step 4: Condition
Once the leatherwork is dry, it is time to add the finishing product.
NAF Sheer Luxe Balsam is an intensive conditioner designed to penetrate and nourish tack, keeping it luxuriously soft and supple.
Step 5: Put bridle back together
Once the bridle is back together, you will have a cleaned, nourished and conditioned bridle which feels soft and supple.
If riding daily, cleaning your tack weekly is advised. Although this seems a bit of a chore, it won’t take you long at all once you get into a routine.
One of our favourite products is NAF Neatsfoot oil. This traditional choice nourishes and re-hydrates dried out, brittle leather is.
Follow the steps below to make your tack supple and soft again:
- Shake well before use.
- Apply sparingly to the underside of leather using a brush or soft cloth.
- Leave to soak into the leather.
- Re-apply if necessary. Take care, not to overapply.
- Remove any excess oil left on the leather’s surface.
Cleaning a synethic is really quick when using NAF synthetic tack cleaning spray.
Follow these steps below for a clean saddle:
- Find a place for your saddle to sit
- Look at how dirty your saddle is; If it is heavily soiled go to step 3 if it isn’t too bad go to step 4.
- Wash down with water to remove excesses and allow to dry before using Synthetic Tack Clean
- Shake the bottle well before use
- Spray directly on to tack avoiding felt areas and simply wipe clean.
- Leave it a couple of minutes to dry naturally.
