NAF Hoof Range
Stamp out bad feet
NAFs aim is to nourish and protect your horse’s hooves and stamp out bad feet
Hoof quality is largely governed by intrinsic factors such as genetics and diet, whilst external elements, including climate, management and care, also play an important part.
Farriers and nutritionists alike recognise the influence diet has on hoof integrity.
Poor quality horn, slow hoof growth and a propensity towards cracking and splitting can often be attributed to nutritional deficiencies.
Providing targeted nutritional support on a daily basis from a correctly formulated hoof supplement can have a huge bearing on the health and growth of your horse’s hooves.
In addition, providing nourishment and protection in the form of a suitable application will also benefit the hoof integrity.
Feeding ProFeet
When should I feed a hoof supplement?
Any horse or pony with a pre-existing condition, this includes crumbling horn to shortening shoeing cycles which can be assisted. There are many nutrients required to form quality hoof horn from within.
Reduced ridden days, increased farriery visits and new management systems could be required, which may be able to be prevented with a five star hoof supplement.
PROFEET Five Star hoof support:
- Recommended proven levels of Biotin
- Cysteine essential for di-sulphide bonds
- MSM for sulphur donation
- Methionine for cystine conversion
- Essential fatty acids
- Complex of vitamins and minerals
- Broad blend of amino acids
- Vital antioxidants to support against oxidative stress
Below we have highlighted the PROFEET range which can be fed and the benefits of feeding these NAF supplements.
PROFEET supplements are unique in that they not only provide nutrients to directly support hoof health, they also provide nutritional support that helps target healthy liver function, which, in turn is fundamental to healthy hoof growth.

Applying Profeet
No matter whether you ride competitively or if your horse or pony is unridden, there are numerous environmental threats encountered daily which could be of detriment to your horse.
Regular farrier visits are necessary in order to ensure their hooves are balanced and well attended to, but good nutrition both internally and externally ensures a healthy hoof supports their body weight and overall performance.
Environmental threats can be anything from weather conditions leading to poor horn quality, bedding or robbing moisture from the horn or a hazard in the field leading to a puncture wound through the sole. Each situation could threaten hoof health and leave areas vulnerable, however, with daily support these areas can be protected and nourished accordingly.
Should hoof applications be applied daily?
From dry stable bedding, variable ground conditions to arena surfaces, the ever changing conditions can over time weaken an otherwise good hoof.
Applying a targeted hoof application daily can help avoid the hoof from becoming susceptible to cracks and splits and support genetic defections.
Below is the range of hoof applications and the benefits of each.

Farrier Solution by PROFEET
“Using Farrier Solution by PROFEET was quick, easy and convenient and was far less greasy than other products. It penetrated the hoof wall well too. The screw top handle makes applying the liquid so easy.
The consistency of the liquid is first rate – it stays on the brush without dripping everywhere and seems to stay put once applied to the hoof wall.”

PROFEET pellets
“I have been feeding PROFEET Powder and then Pellets for the last 4 years to my 16.2h gelding.
When we bought him his hooves were very cracked and brittle, they were growing very little between shoeing and it was a struggle for my farrier to keep putting shoes on him!
After six months on PROFEET Pellets his hoof growth had improved no end and within a year his feet were fantastic, it was almost like they had never had a problem. I couldn’t recommend NAF products enough!”

PROFeET ROCK hard
“Without a doubt PROFEET has allowed me to keep Desi in work; no hoof no horse is a very true saying and PROFEET has saved Desi’s hooves.
Last summer, Desi was pulling his shoes off on a weekly basis and we made the decision to try keeping him barefoot.
He was already on the PROFEET Pellets and we’d seen an improvement in hoof growth which my farrier had commented on too, but his shoe pulling was causing problems.
Once the shoes were off we added the Farrier Solution and Rock Hard to Desi’s hoofcare routine and have not looked back. His old shod hoof has nearly fully grown out & his foot balance is so much better.”
