We Try Out Ariat’s New Ascent Riding Tights
Ariat’s new Ascent clothing range is designed to help you train at your best with new industry-leading compression technology for support and recovery. We couldn’t wait to try them out!
What we liked
- Flattering, comfortable fit.
- High waistband, which helps to support the core whilst riding.
- Compression panels offer maximum support to muscles and joints.
- Lightweight fabric makes them perfect for the warmer summer months.
- Subtle knee patch grip is ideal for those who prefer less grip in the saddle.
- The tights feature two sizeable phone pockets, which we thought was very handy!
Our review
“The new compression panels featured on the Ariat Ascent Tights really did offer maximum support to my muscles and joints. As someone who struggles with knee strain, it’s comforting to know that I am riding in the best possible clothes to support my performance.
As a dressage rider, the tights will be perfect in training sessions to help improve my position in the saddle. With dressage every fine detail makes a difference and can improve your score!
I also found the Ascent Tights to be both flattering and comfortable with the high waistband helping to support my core whilst riding.
If you prefer to have less sticky grip in the saddle, then the subtle knee patch grip on the Ascent Riding Tights is ideal.
It’s really handy that these riding tights feature not just one but two sizeable phone pockets, and as they are super lightweight, I’m looking forward to wearing them in the summer as I think they will be perfect for the warmer months.”
SIZING
Hermione usually wears a size 8/10 so chose the small size. She recommends that you may want to size up if you are in between sizes as the compression technology does make these quite tight.
