    Brand Warranty Guidelines

Please see below for a list of specific brand warranty guidelines. If a brand is not listed below, please note that most brands have a 12 month warranty period. If you think your product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible. Most manufacturers will look at time since purchase rather than the amount of wear an item has had.

Warranties do not cover misuse, accident, modification or unauthorised repair, nor do they cover anything resulting as a product of natural wear.

Please also note that in most cases if you have already had a product replaced or repaired under warranty, the product you have received will not have an extended warranty.

Aigle offer a two year warranty on boots as long as the correct care has been taken including use of a silicone spray.

All products carry a 12 month warranty and Ariat Europe guarantees all products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. This includes manufacturing defects that may develop under normal wear. Ariat does not warranty and is not responsible for damages caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect and the natural breakdown of materials over time, or problems that may be reasonably expected with normal wear or failure to follow care instructions.

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and not the amount of wear an item has had.

Ariat have a helpful guide here detailing what they will and will not accept. Please do take a look at this before contacting us.

Products are guaranteed by the manufacturer for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase and will, during this period, be repaired or replaced (with the same or similar model), at Charles Owen’s option, free of charge, if there is any defect due to faulty materials or workmanship. This guarantee does not cover defects arising from accidental damage, misuse or wear and tear, and is only available to the original purchaser of the product if the guarantee is registered within 30 days of purchase. Charges may be made for repairs if the product is not registered.

If your boots are deemed to have a manufacturing fault within the 12 month guarantee period, De Niro will repair or replace. Please note that De Niro send all boots back to Italy for repair unless the fault is minor (i.e. zips, poppers) so please allow time for this.

All Fairfax & Favor products have a manufacturing warranty of 18 months. This warranty covers faults and defects outside normal wear and tear, and does not cover misuse, accident, modification or unauthorised repair.

Out of warranty repairs can still be made but must be booked and paid for by the customer. You can do so here: fairfaxandfavorrepairs.com

The above link also gives details as to how Fairfax & Favor manage their repairs. In order to increase the longevity of items and to reduce waste and its impact on the environment, Fairfax & Favor will always aim to repair before replacing.

Hunter offer a two year warranty on all wellington boots and footwear. Accessories including boot socks, insoles, soft accessories and care products are covered by a 6-month warranty.

Le Chameau boots are provided with a two year warranty from the original date of purchase as long as the proper care has been taken including using a silicone spray.

The two year warranty covers the product specifically for manufacturing defects, however this is subject to reasonable wear and tear and does not cover misuse of the product, which includes, deterioration of colour through UV exposure, heat, chemicals and general waste. Due to the manufacturing process, which includes vulcanisation, it is not possible to repair and re-vulcanise any rubber boots, this includes the repairing of moving parts such as zips, straps and sole. Replacement of your footwear under warranty will not be extended after the warranty has expired.

Le Chameau footwear has been designed for a variety of uses. For example, Neoprene is a very warm lining and during warmer months the foot will perspire. This can sometimes be confused with your boot leaking. All soles worn on a concrete or hard abrasive surface will inevitably cause the life of the sole to be shortened just like shoes.

Weatherbeeta offer a 3 year warranty on hardware, waterproofness and breathability on all Weatherbeeta turnout rugs. They will repair or replace your rug at no additional cost if it is found to have a fault in the materials or workmanship within 3 years of the date of purchase.

Rugs will not be covered by the warranty if there is damage caused by improper laundering, general wear and tear, accidental damage, faults caused by neglect, use of the rug for anything other than protective use outdoors, use of parts or accessories other than those produced or recommended for use with the rug, repairs or alterations carried out by third parties not in accordance with Weatherbeeta recommendations, and the ill fit of the turnout rug itself.

Schoffel products are all guaranteed by a two year warranty apart from coats manufactured with Gortex which have a lifetime guarantee. Schoffel will generally try to repair rather than replace any product covered by warranty.
